  • Mentor people across the company on brand development topics, assets, and deliverables.

  • Build operational plans, and define specific goals and KPIs.

  • Own, manage, and discipline the yearly budget.

What I normally bring

  • Years of experience (15+) managing brands from many industries, like Telecoms, Food, Leisure & Tourism, etc.

  • Years of experience (3+) working with AI and new digital experiences.

  • Proven experience in brand development, operational marketing, and working with Product Teams for new products.

  • Ideally, a track record of successfully shipping new brands/products within a studio.

  • Strong ability to construct frameworks/systems effectively to speed up several pipelines.

  • High motivation to work on the evaluation of campaign concepts and their marketability

  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and how to translate insights into clear actionable business opportunities.

  • Expert knowledge in brand strategy, consumer insights  (segmentation, surveys, focus groups), and testing strategies (themes, art styles, heroes, etc.).

  • Demonstrated marketing & analysis skills with an ability to map an exceptional understanding of business drivers.

  • Strong ability to take ownership and responsibility for projects, anticipate problems, manage resources, and drive things forward.

  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to get buy-in from different stakeholders across disciplines and seniority levels.

  • Interest in new technologies and how we could use them to leverage our capabilities.

What are my key responsibilities

  • Building the strategic vision for brand partnerships in Germany, identifying brands that might be a good fit for the company.

  • Extracting insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the strategic & creative vision from beginning through to execution.

  • Writing strategy briefs and building the foundations of a strategic intersection between the brand and the title.

  • Drafting and negotiating deal memos and contractual agreements.

  • Experience working alongside Sales, Product, Marketing, and Consumer Products functions.

  • Development of brand personality documents that can establish the brand’s presence.

  • Providing guidance and feedback to partner creative agencies and brands.

  • Working closely with internal creative groups as well as external agency partners.

  • Translating our brand/marketing requirements into ideas the partner and ultimately consumer easily understands.

  • Drive successful integration of broader creative content and brand initiatives, and the strategic partners.

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Creative Marketing, Editorial & Publishing, Content, Creative Production, and Public Relations.
